On Sunday, Tropical Storm Irene uprooted a massive tree on the city strip in front of a Bellevue Avenue home and tipped the tree over onto the adjacent house. On Monday morning, Northeast Tree Inc. lifted the tree off the home with a crane, revealing— remarkably—no immediate visible damage to the home, and turned the tree into mulch.
